Fit Mario plans your food around what you can spend. ₹2,000 a month can reach about 112 g of protein a day, from the dal, roti and soya you already eat.

The budget engine
Most fitness apps assume chicken breast, salmon and whey. Fit Mario starts from what you can spend and what you already eat, then builds the cheapest plan that still hits your protein.

Add 2 eggs and 300 ml of milk: about 130 g for ₹90–95 a day.
Your monthly food money, diet (veg, egg, Jain, vegan and more), region, kitchen and any meals your mess or family already covers.
A linear-programming optimiser finds the cheapest mix of foods that meets your protein, calories and key micronutrients. The AI only writes the recipes.
Seven days of meals in roti, katori and glass portions, a grocery list with prices, and swaps when you want something cheaper or higher in protein.
Honest when the money is short. If your budget can't reach your target, Fit Mario says so and shows the most protein it can buy. It also caps soya at a sensible amount, flags the vegetarian B12 gap and keeps fibre and iron in range.

FAQ
About the launch, the free plan, your health data and what Fit Mario is not.
Fit Mario is in development and launches first in India. The beta starts on Android, then iPhone, with iPad and the web after that. Join the waitlist and we'll email you once when it opens.
It rolls out in stages: the budget engine, food logging, workouts and daily tracking come first; photo and lab scans, blood-work actions, supplements and Mario AI follow; coach accounts and the family plan come after that.
Yes. Logging, the Indian food database, a budget plan every week, workouts, habits, water, health-app sync, manual lab tracking and the weekly report are free, with a small monthly allowance of AI scans and messages. Pro (₹99 a month or ₹799 a year) adds unlimited re-planning, city prices and the AI features.
It is an optimiser, not a chatbot. Given your budget, diet, region and kitchen, it solves for the cheapest mix of foods that meets your protein, calorie and key micronutrient targets, then assembles meals from Indian recipes. If your budget can't reach your target, it tells you and shows the best it can do.
Yes. You choose vegetarian, eggetarian, non-veg, vegan, Jain or no onion-garlic, plus your region and any allergies. A vegetarian 70 kg adult can reach about 110 g of protein a day from soya, dal and atta for roughly ₹60 a day.
Fit Mario is being built for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: you give separate consent for health data, lab reports, photos and coach access, and you can export or delete your data at any time. Your data will be stored in India (Mumbai) and encrypted at rest, and lab files and photos will only be reachable through short-lived signed links.
Coaches see only what you choose to share with them, and every coach access is logged.
No. Fit Mario gives general nutrition and fitness information. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Lab results are for tracking, and anything outside a safe range is flagged with a prompt to see a doctor.
Talk to your doctor before changing your diet or starting supplements, especially if you are pregnant, have diabetes, kidney disease or another condition, or take regular medication. Fit Mario is for adults 18 and over.
Usually not. Fit Mario compares every protein source by ₹ per 25 g of protein, and food often wins: soya chunks cost about ₹7 for 25 g of protein, imported whey about ₹118. If a supplement is worth it for you, it shows lab-test status and safe dose ranges. Any affiliate link is clearly labelled and never affects the ranking.
That's the plan: the core app is to be published under the AGPL-3.0 licence, with food and price data under open data licences. Pro features run as a paid hosted service. The Fit Mario name and logo are trademarks and are not open-licensed.

Join the waitlist and we'll email you once when Fit Mario opens in India. Core features are free; Pro is ₹99 a month, ₹49 for students.
